An autoresponder lets you set up a series of email messages to follow up automatically with any customer or prospect inquiry. You can program your messages to go out instantly, or in any sequence of days afterward. Given that many customers need multiple contacts to finally decide to buy, having an autoresponder puts yours email marketing on autopilot, so you can focus on other things. You can also use this third-party application to manage your customer or prospect mailing list and send out email newsletters or the occasional "broadcast" email. Cost for the service is around the $20/month range.
