How to Create Your Own Websites – Even If
You Hate Technology Today you can register your domain and host your website for less than US$50 a year through services like www.godaddy.com Of course, not everyone has the patience or desire to get technical and figure out how to put together their own website. It’s time-consuming, detail-oriented, and can be very frustrating at times – especially when you can’t get exactly the look you want. Now, a well-known Internet author, Jim Edwards, has put together a simple step-by-step course for the “non-techies” along us with the tools to create what he calls “mini sites.” These simple websites, with just a few pages, can often be more profitable than bigger, fancier sites that cost thousands of dollars to create. You can read my review of his course here. For other low-cost ways of creating your website, check out my article, Becoming a Website Designer. Jim Edwards, by the way, has also written some outstanding ebooks to help you promote your website, once you have it. I highly recommend his Turn Words into Traffic course – especially if you like to write. Do You Have These Research Tools Bookmarked?
